May Ambience

What I mostly listened to in May, ranked by numbers of plays (per Plexamp) and with a short blurb if a review is not available.
- Kim Hiorthøy - Ghost note. Review.
- Drew McDowall - Lamina. Former member of Coil exploring similar sounds and worlds. Essential.
- Gryphon Rue - I Keep My Diamond Necklace in a Pond of Sparkling Water. Review.
- Tilth - Rock Music. Imagine if Jazz like principles were applied to ambient. I really need to do a spotlight on this artist. Essential.
- Lankum - False Lankum. Irish folk through a modern and experimental lens. Essential.
- William Tyler - Time Indefinite. Review.
- Cody Yantis - Physical Silence. Experimental guitar ambient that suspends time. Recommended.
- SUSS - S/T. Definitive "Ambient Country". Essential.
- Natural Information Society / Bitchin Bajas - Totality. Review.
- A Picnic of Sorts - Mobile. An understated minimal and sparse album that is full of beauty and wonder. Essential.
- M. Sage - Paradise Crick. Whenever this comes on, I always check who it is. So good – quiet ambient music that utilizes folk and field recordings. Essential.
- MIEN - S/T. A Psych rock super group of sorts. Nothing ground breaking but a good listen. Worth your time.
